How to Modify PHP.INI

 

You can create a new text file and assign it as your PHP.INI file. To do this, you need to follow four steps listed in below.

  1. Create a new file with the help of a text editor. Here, we highly recommend Notepad or the File Manager of cPanel control panel. Remember to rename it to php.ini.
  2. Upload this file using your FTP or cPanel’ File Manager and locate it at your public_html directory.
  3. Add the following lines of code to your primary .htaccess file to protect the PHP.INI file. You can find it from /home/username/public_html/.htaccess.

     

  4. In the .htaccess file, add the coding stuff listed in the following. Remember to change the “username” to your cPanel username.

     

What options can I change using php.ini?
