Importing Contacts

To import a contact list in Horde:

  1. Go to the Address Book icon in the top menu.
  2. On the next screen, click the Import/Export icon from the top menu.
  3. Under Import Address Book step 1, select the following:
    • Format of source file
    • Address book to import to
    • Charset of the source file
    • File to be imported
  1. Click the Next button.
  2. On the Import Step 2 page, do the following:
    • Review the file information.
    • Click the checkbox if the first row contains field names.
    • Define the delimiter and quote characters.
    • Define the number of fields.
  1. Click the Next button.
  2. On the Import Step 3 page, manipulate the fields as needed by adding and removing Pairs.
    • To import fields only in the contact file use Add Pair.
    • To exclude a particular field from the import or to correct a wrong match, select a field in the lists and hit Remove pair.
  1. Click Next.

Congratulations, you've successfully imported your Contacts.

Exporting Contacts

You can also export the contact list that you have stored in Horde by doing the following:

  1. Navigate to the Address Book icon at the top 
  2. Select the Import/Export icon at the top.
  3. Select the type under Export Address Book, click the Export button.
